A life in a suitcase
Familiar faces blurring into mosaics
A metal detecting gate to heaven
A stranger sudden subtle sight
Of lands of wonder through the window
Polluted air, dense, intense
Tangible breaths
Scorching sun on sautéed soles
A red caravan
The traffic trifles harmoniously
Bamboo scaffolding
Mansions and shanties
Coconuts and mangoes
A thousand flavors in a food truck
A thousand motorbikes in a single red light
A thousand electricity cables in the sidewalk
A thousand pictures of a single king
Curved pitch roofs
Carved timber
Mosquitoes
A white sheeted bed that holds
A life in a suitcase
