Brave Boy
Brave boy from the valleys
Sets sail to the sea
Uncharted territories
Unprecedented beauty
He looks back at the magnitude of his last home
One of many
Compressed and tall
Sculpted in asphalt and iron
As a squirrel unfamiliar to the oceans
Looking for pine cones in the coral
Where he is yet to find fruit
As his green eyes became blue
Unbeknownst to the waves
For the mountain is set in stone
He finds his comfort in the rain
A wet reminder of his home
